Basically, you need to decide if you think you can make more holding it, or selling to buy something else.
This time of year, movies do very well after they have opened. This is referred to as 'legs'. Generally, kids movies have good legs (repeat viewings). Horror films have bad legs (everyone usually sees it the first weekend). Disappointing openings usually have bad legs. Movies that have good reviews and get good word of mouth have good legs. Just because a movie has a disappointing (to HSX) opening, that does not mean it can't make you money after opening weekend. Long or short.
This time of year and early summer are when the big movies are released. September is the duldrums for HSX.
