Slow Steady Climb, but no, Blockbuster Months?
I;m a billionaire , My current port value is 1 billion 360 million. I've been playing for 10 years, and I'm almost in the 99%th percentile. Good, I suppose.
It seems as if my port increases at about the same rate each month. This year, I've made 34% so far, or almost 400 millon. I was at a bit less than a billion when the year started, and seem to increase anywhere between 30-40 million a month, or 1 million a day.
My question is. What philisophy can I yse to perhaps increase faster? I generally try to look for good deaks. I E shorting limited releases, which I was advised to do earlier this year. Buying the blockbuster stocks when they IPO, the opening weekends, etc.
I'm just wondering what I might be able to do, to increase say.. a hundred million a month, and not have so much cash in my port. Right now my 1.3 billion dollar port is about half in cash, and it seem, useless to just have it sitting there doing nothing for me.
So my question is, if I'm seemingly doing everything to increase my port, it's increasing steadily, what should I do? Just continue the slow, steady increase of about one million a day, and 2 percent a month, or "Go for it", and somehow reach for more? The game limit of 100,000 shares of any stock could be a reason, as well.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated
