moviestock prices are determined by the everyone playing the game

by buying, selling, shorting and covering their positions.  HSX has a secret algorithm that determines how many shares traded moves a stock up or down.  they can also adjust it to their liking, so if things get too volatile, they can pare it back, for the market as a whole, i think.
