Leagues basically....
are for you to see how other players are doing in relation to your own port. You can see what their port value is, and how YOU are doing in relation to the other players you may have in the league.
There is no "monetary" value in joining a league, and you don't 'win' anything by belonging either. It's just a way to track how you may be doing in relation to other players with similar port values or players who may have much larger (or smaller) port sizes.
Leagues are mainly for fun...allowing you to compare yourself with other players.
