All reset trading is speculation that other players trading later in the day will follow the same price movement, and I don't see anything
that changes that dynamic.
Razor says he sees increased volatility and more stocks moving at reset, (so, more opportunities for $$$) and less cash to spend (so, traders are more likely to liquidate other investments when making new ones, causing further price movement). These factors create greater incentives for reset trading, not fewer.
Another thing is that it's not clear that prices won't move as fast as before. All that has changed is the price increment - the responsiveness of trades to price may be unchanged - it just comes in smaller lumps. But going on the 1 trade = 1 cent theory, it only takes 50 traders selling/shorting or covering/buying a stock to cause a price movement of $1, and that's not many.
