i understand that they are trying to make it more like real world trading.
but it would be interesting if you could put a limit order in before the ipo is open for trading. that way people who couldnt get on the site at the respective time wouldnt lose out on buying. and if the shares sell out at the ipo price your order would go though at the next price.
It does bring up a few other questions, how many shares will be avaiable at the ipo price? will it vary depending on the movie? ie big blockbusters would have more shares available at the ipo price, or maybe fewer because of the demand. And will we know ahead of time how many shares will be available at the IPO price?
The one thing I don't like about the game changes, is that IPO's can move that day. I don't like that. Nov 19, 13:52
