The new normal? Just an observation...

So this is the second week(end) in a row that I've noticed that the big blockbuster IPO has very low volatility after the midnight reset (moving +.02 on over a million share movement in the long direction).  Is this perhaps the new normal?  All other securities, including non-Saturday IPOs, conform to the normal volatility settings, but the Saturday blockbuster is set with low volatility initially?  Did anyone else notice this in previous weekends?
