THAT IT'S MEN RIDING AROUND ON HORSES FOR TWO HOURS!!!! YellYellYell How boring can you get? It would be different it it was set in some kind of reality like Young Guns or Tombstone. That had characters that really existed. Or if they threw aliens in it. But it's two guaranteed hours of a show people haven't watched in over half a century! That means that 90% of their target audience is dead.

Werewolves to Blame for $250 Million LONER Budget - ScreenRant (via Wells, BadAss Digest) lobogotti Aug 15, 17:35

CGI werewolves {nm} RazorHawk Aug 15, 17:36

Yeah, someone linked the source Wells over the weekend. Antibody Aug 15, 17:37

my bad. this is interesting.... lobogotti Aug 15, 17:38

please fill free to scribble. i tried to search out if it had been posted but apparently not good enough. {nm} lobogotti Aug 15, 17:40

No tag, no worries. ScreenRants rarely reports anything original. {nm} Antibody Aug 15, 17:42

Lone Ranger fighting werewolves? That's almost as good as a movie version of ... banke005 Aug 15, 17:41

Cowboys fighting Aliens? {nm} Antibody Aug 15, 17:43

Apes showing mercy on Humans? genius indeed! {nm} lobogotti Aug 15, 17:44

I guess upholding the Monroe Doctrine just doesn't lend itself to current tastes. {nm} second gary Aug 15, 18:00

Now I hope this movie never gets made. It's called Lone Ranger for a reason - otherwise call it Tonto and the Werewolves {nm} JDolphin Aug 15, 18:01

I have faith in Gore Verbinski. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Aug 15, 18:05

in getting it made or getting it right? or both? {nm} lobogotti Aug 15, 18:06

Getting it right. He's not as good with sequels but he's done amazing things between Rango, The Ring and the first Pirates. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Aug 15, 18:11

+1 {nm} lobogotti Aug 15, 18:15

That said, Disney were right putting a halt on this one... you can't spend $250 million on a Lone Ranger movie, not in this day and age. {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Aug 15, 18:20

I would say that unless it has Will Smith, Hobbits, Vampires, Transformers, Bats, Spiders or Wizards, you can't spend $250M on any movie. {nm} lobogotti Aug 15, 18:23

oh and Navi. {nm} lobogotti Aug 15, 18:24

We'd like to buy your script! {nm} Major Movie Studio Aug 15, 18:44

The Playlist had addtional comments on the Wells story, saying it wasn't really werewolfs but the main supernatural element was medusa Aug 15, 18:10

That's like saying Jacob isn't a werewolf in Twilight. Shapeshifterm skinwalker, same difference. :) {nm} Antibody Aug 15, 20:19
