Yeah, because *everyone* uses Twitter. CinemaScore, a reputable firm, says otherwise.

From what I've gathered here, doesn't Cinemascore basically gauge what the people who went to the movie thought? As you said the other day..

No doubt, it's going to be a love/hate response. But that could have the potential to draw interest in a very dangerous way. I mean...

Saw it with my sister and her bf, they hated it. They had no idea what it was It sucks that they were misled by marketing.

Can't blame them though. Would be interesting to see what kind of box office the film would have received had it been marketed honestly

Personally, I'm torn on the film. But I do know I'd never recommend it to anyone I know

there is always a risk of backlash when you fool the public. if sentiment turns bad, could gosling and refn suffer?

but thats their job. Film District isnt going to have big films. They will be taking out smaller films the big studios dont want and will

without Film District, a movie like Drive would never get made or fall to companies like mine that essentially are in the DTV world

No, we don't need more companies like them. Insidious = garbage, Drive = garbage. Their output has stunk.
