Since I started mid-year, I'm having difficulty gauging what a good yearly gain goal is. To date, I've been playing for 134 days

and I've made 228.76M in addition to the starting 2M, good for about 1.71M per day. Over the past couple of weeks, playing a computer game has slowed down my pace (which will end at some point next year I'm sure, probably fairly early at the rate I'm playing), and it took me a while to really get moving port-wise. My first inclination is that a decent goal would be to be within 100M of 1B in total port by the close of 2012. That would require 670M in 2012 (and the next few days before the end of 2011). I think that's very doable. My "reach" goal would be hitting a billion before the end of 2012. I think that's theoretically doable, too, but it'll be tougher. In addition, I'd like to finish in the Top 10 in Kaigee's list at least once, which is tougher for those of us with smaller ports. In past weeks (before I hit the top 10,000), I would have made the Top 25 a few times, but never that high.

I'm going to stop typing now because I doubt anyone's actually still reading at this point. I tend to get carried away sometimes. ;)
