Do you think Michael Bay would be a popular director even if he didn't put lots of explosions and underwear models in his movies? And since
its been established that he's a bad director (he's been referred to as awful in pretty much every movie he's directed), why is he popular and why is his audience mostly men? Why do they flock to his movies regardless of quality?
Tatum gives his audience what they want, just like the Sex and the City movies and the Twilight movies do. Bay gives what his audience wants, just like Hangover movies do and the Expendables movies do.
Did I forget to mention how brave I think you are, having the guts to speak out about Channing Tatum's woodenness and bewildering popularity, which has never ever been done before? Because I think that's incredibly brave.
