Yeah, guess I should have some numbers for it :) it's my general feeling that midnight showings are becoming more available each year
and films are making more gross from midnight. It's certainly more pronounced for midnight-heavy genres, but for genres like family films, it may have also grown from say 1% of a film's OW to 1.2%, which would be hardly noticeable but actually a 20% growth. But I don't have numbers to back up for that claim, and I apologize for it. For Wrath though, I definitely feel $1m is weak since it's a sequel with 3D help. It's true that John Carter made 500K on its way to a $30m OW, but I don't see the ratio being anywhere as good for Wrath.
