It's really surprising that this hasn't happened yet, here's hoping for a good cast, I'm guessing they'll go after Lea Michele for Elphaba..

Also, I know it's OT, but HBO or Showtime should really take a look at some of these musicals that probably don't have as good of a shot at a mainstream release.  Things like Next to Normal, Avenue Q, In the Heights, or the still talked about, but probably doubtful Spring Awakening film would do well on something like that, I'd think.
