BATM3: Now that's a movie! Holy Chris Nolan! What a stunner! Everything i'd hoped for and more. What an adrenaline rush!!
This is a dense, talky picture, a film about characters, their thoughts, their motivations, their dreams. There is so much going on in this picture, it makes you delirious.
This is what going to the movies is all about. What a fabulous job by Mr. Nolan. It's an absolutely thrilling ride.
I just love the whole idea that Nolan was unafraid of putting this story through the true paces of what Batman has historically been about. This is not some stupid cartoon, with pasty superheroes spouting inane one liners. This is truly a dark ride. The only film from 2012 this reminds me of in any way is The Grey, due to the unrelenting dark quality of the material.
The performances are fantastic in this. And the technicals shatter what other blockbusters are doing. The IMAX presentation is absolute state of the art in cinematography and cinema presentation. Good God is this film stunning to look at.
