If I had to guess. . .
. . .it's probably because the function at handles the price movement has a dependency on the total daily volume. So it doesn't move like 30M buys at reset (like you are expecting), it moves like the incremental increase another 30M buys after 125M shares have already traded that day. This will be confirmed tomorrow when it goes up more on the same 30M shares traded long.
