Galactus and the Silver Surfer definitely have more connections with the Marvel Cinematic Universe than any of the Daredevil characters.
Compare: Kingpin, Daredevil, Elektra & Bullseye and their interactions with other characters Marvel still holds the rights to, with Silver Surfer and Galactus. I can understand why Marvel would rather get the rights to those characters back than Daredevil. Getting the rights back to Daredevil would only really make sense if Marvel also had the rights to Spider-Man as well, whereas with the different characters Marvel still holds now, Galactus and Silver Surfer could be possibly introduced as players in The Avengers 2 and then spun-off into solo movies (although Silver Surfer would make more sense and be easier to do as a solo movie than Galactus would be). I personally would prefer it if all of the characters were back under the Marvel fold, but if I had to choose between Daredevil and his stable, and Galactus and Silver Surfer, I would probably choose the latter, as there are more possibilities for inter-connectivity with the current Marvel Cinematic Universe with those characters. But we'll find out on October 10th whether or not Fox & Disney/Marvel have agreed to anything, I suppose.
