We can tell the skilled prognosticators from the guys who wing numbers out there willy nilly. Xiayun, for ex, has been right so many times,
I've all but given up counting how many times he just nails it. I mean, REALLY nails it, many days in advance of ANY kind of numbers published. He puts me to utter shame. One day, when box office prognostication is a full-blown industry with respect, he will be at the top of it and so will a select few others.
There's money to be made here. But you can't make any if you're constantly wrong, a la RS and boxoffice.com.
