Yeah, I used too...

I used to maintain a database going over 2-3 years with over 160+ movies.  Lost it due to hard drive malfunction.  

MTC was usually within 20% of the actuals BO for the weekend.  RS was usually 40% off of actuals. The MTC rule does exist, IMO after looking at the data. However, it is not set in stone. It merely reflects the average of results over time.
