Given the legs on the first one; and the increases in sequel box office, I'm thinking the 50+ is more likely than 35.
24mil in the first on a bad weekend for man-movies (Super Bowl weekend eliminates Sunday as shown by the 68% drop from saturday to sunday)....so you're probably looking at 27/28mil with a normal 3day....add in inflation from 2009 to now and you're already touching 30mil.
Then you look at the well-received nature of the first movie (a nearly 6x multiplier)....that's a recipe for a much larger increase than the 35mil threshold.
