TWLI2 and BLDSD for Dummies

Posted by: Vashta Nerada (a.k.a H-Mogul) on Dec 05, 17:18

Geez, I'm going to get sued for using that aren't I. Darn you trademark and copy write laws. :)-

I should just post this stuff in a blog and just post a link. Nobody ever demands a blog show the math. Anybody volunteer to post my numbers thoughts on their blog for link through. Puts me right up there with Nikki and her numbers guys. I could be a contributing editor to "insert blog name here." :))

TWLI2
                                                     3rd wknd 15.0. ERC est
254.94    0.72     0.72    0.63   0.63  4th wknd   9.0
266.64
Went with 60% 4th weekend moderating over the 3rd weekend est. 65%

BLSDS
              2.06     2.32    2.13   2.08  3rd wknd 21.0 ERC est
129.82    1.13     1.28    1.17   1.14  4th wknd 12.6
147.14

70% hold 14.7 / 149.24
80% hold 16.8 / 151.34

It would probably need a 70% hold next weekend if I'm lite on the weekdays, or 80% if they are close for me to be $5 out my around $146 post. Note: I didn't adjust the weekdays for the hold post's totals.

Last weeks  BLDSD and TWLI2  were helped Holiday, I just wasn't aggressive enough with TLWI2 in it's dropoffs, Running at 80% that's death dive levels, though with the long weekend and a 70% drop I should have instead of sticking to comparing it to the TWLIT. It's doing way worse then TWLIT and that had nothing for legs to speak of. My bad, I should have worked with what is not an assumption.

I didn't bother to doing numbers last week for BLSDS as sneak posted $152 and that was close enough for me, a few points here or there and he would have been spot on. You don't have to be spot on with these numbers if you want to practice this at home being in the ballpark is close enough. Being in the ballpark is a big leg up on those  that are just playing the flow or the mo, but it helps you know when to get out of the flow. I shorted several times this week when BLSDS tagged $160+ as even if ticked up a few more dollars I wasn't going to miss a reverse when I wasn't here, if better numbers came out. Or somebody posted  math. ~Easy money.~ Come on sing it with me. ~EEEEEAAAASY money. :)

I was actually debating on the earlier whether to use 146 or 147 in my around post but I did it in my head and I didn't feel like working it out out the last digit, as close can be good enough. Yeah I can do this stuff in my head, takes me 60 minutes of more to type this stuff out and then recheck and to actually get it to say what I actually meant. So I get lazy. Of course if I  do it it a blog I probably won't be so lazy.  Catch 22. DOH!

Remember your mileage may very.
