Avatar 2 [AVAT2] spoilers...already? prahainsider Dec 30, 08:27

still skeptical...cant see AVAT2 being as successfull, the shock & awe is gone {nm} bennyboy10 Dec 30, 08:33

Depends on a lot of factors, including timing of when they would release a sequel....the LOTR films are probably the closest comparison.. notfabio Dec 30, 10:30

LOTR had a fan base before it was made. people are seeing AVATR for the pretty colors {nm} bennyboy10 Dec 30, 11:46

Lotr had a fan base...Avatar has 3D. And if they get around to putting it out in 2 or 3 or however many years, there will be more 3D screens Catzan Dec 30, 11:57

Can we start a petition to have it IPO on the day AVATR cashes out? {nm} eyescovered Dec 30, 10:19

It's already set for 1/9, presumably to drive Saturday site traffic since there isn't comission free. {nm} notfabio Dec 30, 10:38

Yea, I know. Just wishful thinking... : ) {nm} eyescovered Dec 30, 10:42

Would be nice to see an inverse of Avatar with Neytiri cloned as a human avatar for a bit and played by the real Saldana of course. {nm} Mist Dec 30, 10:38

I'm not skeptical. It is Cameron we are talking about here. The guy is a successful blockbuster machine. A Movienator! {nm} GarciaXL Jan 09, 06:08
