is already going to movies, presumably there is a certain segment of potential audience who don't currently go the movies but would watch a movie at home if it were available at or shortly after the theatrical window

if the price of that "faster" rental is higher than what those customers would pay if they had to wait longer for the normal, cheaper rental, presumably there is extra money to be made
