I don't think motion capture performances are eligable...
I think I recall Peter Jackson raising a fuss about that for the actor who played gollem in LOTR.
I do agree about Saldana, her performance was very good, you could easily see her ballet training in the way she moved and jumped, so smooth and graceful.
