WTF is going on with this film?

Rumors are that the setting will be modern day, possibly in America. It will start with book 3. It will have Tiran and Sayre but there will be no Susanna or Eddie. The story will focus on Jake as the main character. Finally the part with Stephen King in the story may actually happen in the film. These film makers have forgotten the face of their fathers.
