I think a lot of them were looking forward to it on the contingency that it's good--and there's a lot of time between now and Thurs. night.
And there's a lot of time between Thursday night and Sunday night--during which time the fanbase will have already spoken, and will begin affecting numbers.
There's still a chance it can satisfy fans, but perhaps not general moviegoers quite so much?
