I generally like you RT, but I just don't get what the fear is here

If gayness is fully normalized in society kids are just going to start being gay?Ā  It just doesn't work like that.

Variety: Alabama Drive-In Theater Cancels ‘Beauty and the Beast’ Screenings Due to Gay Character notfabio Mar 03, 10:06

Keeping in mind this one theatre with evening only shows, if it was lucky probably would have generated $15K in box office opening weekend. {nm} notfabio Mar 03, 10:09

They're getting so much backlash on Facebook. Interestingly, they screened TREK3 wth gay Sulu back in August. Antibody Mar 03, 10:47

... before the recent change in theatre ownership. (nm) Patient Player Mar 03, 10:56

they state they weren't responsible for movies pre 12/16. Its funny their revenue has dropped more than 50% since they said they took over Moviesnob Mar 03, 10:57

Disney should cancel future booking at that theater. {nm} Antibody Mar 03, 10:11

Why? You don't think Disney will respect his right to stand by his beliefs? I doubt Disney issues a statement attacking his religion. {nm} RollingThunder Mar 03, 10:26

That didn't stop Disney from theatening to boycott state with anti-gay laws. {nm} Antibody Mar 03, 10:31

they wont issue a statement to draw attention to it. And they'll likely never book a movie there again. {nm} Moviesnob Mar 03, 10:37

nobody's entitled for the rest of the world to pay money for their beliefs {nm} slipping jimmy Mar 03, 10:43

It's time for people to give up their superstitous and ignorant beliefs and find some new ones based on reality and fairness. {nm} islander Mar 03, 11:18

You don't get any more real than the Bible. Kudos to this guy. {nm} RollingThunder Mar 03, 11:23

he's entitled to his beliefs, but what about his customers?...did they have a say? {nm} tealfan Mar 03, 12:13

They'll have a say by taking their business elsewhere going forward if they find it offensive {nm} shadowking Mar 03, 12:23

I hear the "exclusive scene" is like nothing (spoilers) diamondman56 Mar 03, 10:36

May sound petty, but with so many options, I've taken this off of my "to see list" {nm} durf Mar 03, 10:58

Already have my tickets but won't be taking the kids now. {nm} RollingThunder Mar 03, 11:02

makes sense. {nm} St Blink Mar 03, 11:31

"You got my money, Disney, but you didn't get my kids!" {nm} slipping jimmy Mar 03, 12:01

Good move. This way they'll NEVER figure out that gay people exist. {nm} CG63 Mar 03, 12:57

So you probably relate with Michael Pena's character in CHiPs, don't you? {nm} Jay_Beezy Mar 03, 19:06

..and yet the same theater is showing a drag-themed film soon. Suggests this has more to do with press than with principles. {nm} CG63 Mar 03, 12:55

Their Facebook is getting bombed with 1 star (1K) and 5 star (720) reviews as of the moment. notfabio Mar 03, 14:01
