That's a flawed premise.
Even if they got to whatever % that point was, large chains still would not have to deal with them. They could still make them pay full price for the tickets. MoviePass would still need to purchase full price tickets from the chains or stop offering movies from those chains in the service. Start removing a large number of theaters from the MoviePass package, they start losing subscribers. The large chains held all the cards.
