As expected, after last weekend's flame-outs. BOM has 2019 Box Office behind both 2018, 2017, and just 1.7 percent above 2016. Ouch..
To put this full perspective. Tickets were a lot cheaper in 2017 and we're still behind, and that was "with" Avengers' huge run recently.
The theater audience appears to be shrinking at a good clip....

Got news for many of you. If you're losing that coveted comic book audience that has carried us for the last 25 years -- you've got serious problems pulling numbers in the near future.

BOM says the average ticket price for 2019 so far is $9.01 and $8.97 for 2017. That doesn't seem like a big difference. Jun 13, 09:56
