While keeping the site free, have you thought of adding paid features?
Just spitballing here, that it might make sense to add paid features that would provide a more long term revenue stream.
I know we have all been in the position where we need to do a quick sell off in order to be able to get a desirable IPO. I would not be against having players be able to trade real world dollars for HSX dollars. They would still be limitied to the current number of shares.
Or if we are against people possibly buying their way up in rank, there could be a player level added for those like the initial investors, where they would be allowed to exceed the purchase limits for a select number of stocks, possibly get a discounted IPO price or have access to more automated features for trading. This elevated level could become a subscription model.
I know this is way off, but just wanted to put it out there and see what others thought.
