Top two box scores (Excellent + Very Good) typically average 70 or above, depending on which research vendor is used and what type of movie is being screened--so most movies are going to have scores that "range between Excellent and Very Good" (which is not really a good way to phrase it). I'm guessing whoever is feeding this account info is basing their information on the focus group that was done after the screening. They were likely a participant in the group and they're just parroting back what the scores were when the moderator asked people what they rated the movie.
So, again, really doesn't tell anything about the movie at all.
