most, by year's end, but opened right before Christmas *last* year). Iron Man 2 might not surpass Alice? If so, that means Toys, Alice, Iron Man 2 so far. Will any movie opening this year pass Toys in final cume? As for opening weekends, I guess it's the same three so far, but in a different order.

What will be this year's biggest opener (OW), if not any of these three.. ? I can see Twilight having a chance, although the early start (Wednesday) and certain frontloading may end up ruining it's chance of any record this year.

Any others?

I believe MoneyMagnet mentioned Tron Legacy, but I know far too little about that one and its built-in fanbase plus four-quad appeal - just seems a little unlikely candidate so far to me, but then again, so did Avatar, to many, much less than one year ago...

Who said the quality of the 3D is bad? The 3D is just about perfect because it's subtle and doesn't overpower the storytelling. secretstalker Jun 20, 04:18
