Wow. The University 6. I've watched a ton of films there over the years. That's pretty soul crushing for me.
The Regal right down the street from me several months back, and now this, the University 6. I haven't been there in a little bit; I'm sorry I haven't been for awhile. I would imagine that a theater like that one, which has specialized in arthouse farefor adults, has probably taken a major hit since March 2020.
That's a heartbreaker.
I never went out to Corona much to see movies at that stadium; i always had other options closer by like the Irvine Spectrum or the AMC 30 at The Block in Orange. Both of those are bigger and nicer, with better audiences. But that feels like another significant closure.
