FUBAR 1-3 (C+) AIR (B)

Posted by: notfabio on Jun 19, 09:47 in response to tealfan's post So Who Saw What Last Week?...Creed III (B)...Extraction 2...

As far as FUBAR, they clearly blew their budget on Schwarzenegger as it feels aggresively chintzy most of the time.  Monica Barbaro and Jay Baruchel's performances are the best things about it (so far) and the comic relief support team should be written out for the greenlit S2.  TULSA KING and COBRA KAI (which covers a lot of the same ground) are substantially better.

AIR is aggressively fine? Nothing really elevates it to a theatrical experience, performances and script are solid to very good.

Did you realiize it was based on something that really happened to the director? {nm} TheWeekendWarrior Jun 19, 12:13
