Both which happen just days before the Oscar voting begins... safe to assume Netflix gave some money to both guilds to honor Bening, maybe get a nice speech in front of costume and makeup/hair styling branch Academy members who might give her their vote over others? I mean, NYAD's makeup/hairstyling wasn't even shortlisted... and costumes for that movie are just swimsuits so...

She was also at the Paris last night, and Netflix is using that venue to pimp all its Oscar nominees including Carey Mulligan. Feb 03, 06:01
