In appreciation of another Summer Pick 7 upon us... I present my Summer Pick 5. (Good luck players)

Very happy my prediction of Dune 2 winning the Spring did happen.
And now, another fun Summer Pick 7 contest lies ahead.
Thanks again to Kaigee, Tealfan, and all those who help brings us this great game over the Summer. So let's get to it:
My Summer Pick 5. (My picks for top Summer box office winners)
1. Deadpool and Wolverine:
The event film of the Summer will bring in droves. The big question is how much "studio interference," will play a factor here. If these characters can free fully off this R-rated romp- the constant absence of big comedies at the multi-plex will help it big. Audiences are ready.
2. Despicable Me 4:
Ah yes, I'm back to form. I've been consistently predicting Universal animated titles beating its Disney counterparts over the last couple years. Universal has delivered, so is this really a upset pick now? LOL. I see no difference here. Film also has the entire 4th of July frame to itself mostly- meaning huge numbers. If Deadpool stumbles, this can also win the Summer.
3. Inside Out 2:
First one was great, but we're a long way from Disney being the dominant brand it once was in animation. A bronze finish here though is reachable.
4. Kraven The Hunter:
The dark horse (is this a pun, haha)? As of now the film is set to open in August. If it does, the film will break out big in Venom-like fashion. Aaron Taylor Johnson is also set to be your "break out" star of the Summer off the film's over-performance at box office.
5. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga:
Memorial Day openings have the advantage of grabbing big numbers early. Others will look to films like Kingdom of Planet of Apes and A Quiet Place: Day One for this spot. The audience good will of Mad Max: Fury Road should carry over here leading to a solid finish.
Other notes:
I guess predicting Barbie could over-perform in this part of my predictions last year.. was kind of a understatement. LOL. On the bright side. I did also say Oppenheimer would get Oscar buzz.
As for this Summer: Sleepers could include The Fall Guy, Twisters, and Borderlands.
