Saw War for the Rohirrim last night and thought it was better than the RT score would suggest
My wife is not an animation fan in general and has never actually seen LOTR but we had some friends who wanted to go so she came along and after a slow start for her, found that she enjoyed it quite a bit. Have seen a lot of very good reactions to it online with other viewers as well. It's clearly a box office bomb, but maybe WOM will help it a little in the long run (if it gets screens for more than a week or two). I'd give it a solid 8/10 -- a little too long which drops the score some.
