What it does is so damn specific. Still not really sure what I think of it overall. Obviously it puts you right in the middle of the dread that builds, the sudden overwhelming violence and ensuing chaos that can happen.
Since it doesn't have any sort of epic, sweeping narrative skeleton, I'm not sure this is going to be remembered all that much at the end of the year. We'll see. the performances, the production values, all so authentic. Just feels like they filmed on that street and all those people were the people. Incredible that way.
