I still remember when I saw Minority Report on opening night, all the screenings were sold out
So I was sure that it would make $50 million plus and I think I logged into HSX just before halt to reverse my position long (This was pre OW derivatives where the actual stocks would halt) and I got killed when it only opened with $35.7 million... but it still beat Lilo & Stitch by less than a million. Lilo ended up making more domestically (maybe $10 million?) but that was back in a weird period when Disney was not having huge hits with non-Pixar animation.
