10X Thursday previews used to be a good media for a movie's weekend...now, it seems like the high end as previews start earlier
Sinners barely made 10X previews for its first weekend... Lilo and Stitch did 12.5X but that's a family film with a holiday weekend, so it should have been much higher. It looks like 8.5 is the high end and as we're fully into summer with school out, that's probably going to be tough as well. Makes me worried about 28 Years Later opening over $50m even though Final Destination did it.
