Look, that producer is a piece of work, but this always happens when an indie film becomes a franchise. People all want to get paid. Many of them deserve it and Steve was treated unfairly and didnt deserve to be pushed out. That was the producer's ego. But he is not mad about compensation, he is mad/hurt because he believed in the film and helped promote the film through his network because of his passion for the genre not for money
