Maybe they needed it for international? Probably not surprising but Amazon loves movies based on books for cross promotion so I guess that was part of the thinking. CAA wins again


Not sure why I PLAY ROCKY is being platformed. I mean, I know awards (Ladies and Gentlemen lighting will strike twice!!) so i guess i am surprised its that good? Most of his post GREEN BOOK stuff has been dumped

 YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER YOUR MOTHER is going wide one week after VERITY opens so you are making theaters pick between them for placement which is not ideal. They have nothing between MOTU and YMYMYM Limited so why not push one up? They are both done. Probably festival related but i dont think that is smart anymore. 2027 is BEEKEEPER 2 and then Jordan's THOMAS CROWN which is getting IMAX so thats good news. 

Only reason I really care is just with all the consolidation, its nice they are finally stepping it up.
