I just did something that I might really regret. I just shorted Toy Story 5

My local theater complex has the only IMAX within an hour's drive in any direction. The sales they have for any theater and any type of display and any experience being offered is an IMAX showing on Thursday night at 6:30 my time. It's only 20% sold.

I get it. This is a kids movie so I went to the weekend and I checked every screening in every possible viewing being offered. 10 to 12% sold per screening at best. Because I'm in Canada I went to Fandango and I checked in some theaters south of the border and they are no better. I know what the tracking is saying and I still have the opening weekend on long because I think a bunch of families are going to show up the day of the screening but there is no way in my opinion that this thing is going to have any legs at all
