Red Dawn will come out in 2011, MGM has had a rough time but it looks like that withing 30 days it will come out of bankruptcy having made a deal with it's debtors and spygalss entertianment and after that it just a matter finding the right time slot in 2011(I'm guessing February, March or April) and promoting it.
James Bond 23 and the two Hobbit movies aren't even started yet and people have doubt that they are going to be made(some say Bond 23 in 2011 and the Hobbit part 1 in 2012) when Red Dawn is finished and just waiting for some loose ends at MGM to straightened out, Red Dawn Stands a better and faster chance of getting released then Bond 23 or the Hobbit,
Red Dawn stands a way better chance then the hobbit because the hobbit was already going to be very exspensive to make and that was before the collapse of the U.S. dollar , Now the AU dollar is getting stronger against the U.S. dollar which means the hobbit is going to cost allot more to make, When Red Dawn is finished on a budget of around $75 million, MGM will spend most likely between 10 tyo 20 million to promote Red Dawn and have a total investment of 85 to 95 million which they will make back easily, Also under the new agreement MGM is only going to be releasing around 6 movies a year so it's only good business to release one that is already finished and rated.
