I don't think it will underperform in general, but with the way the holiday falls it could come in light for the three day weekend.

Xmas eve is traditionally a poor day at the box office and that's going to hurt a normally good day in Friday.  Xmas day is usually a good day, but it falls on Saturday, which is typically the best day anyway so the Xmas day bump should be muted.
