I'm with you. Last weekend was a great example for 'ignoring the numbers and following your gut'

Posted by: JMT (a.k.a JMT-NL) on Mar 07, 11:11 in response to lhayes37's post A little data is good. But you have to go with your gut....

I did great ;-P

MTC (hold onto your seats)... BATLA 28, GWRRH 18, MNMOM 10 secretstalker Mar 07, 09:41

Good thing I waited before I go to bed.. thanks for the figures.. especially GWRRH .. ;-) {nm} karspov Mar 07, 09:43

Well, if notfabio and I are ever in the same city again, I will have to buy him dinner for Emailing these to me while I was home :) secretstalker Mar 07, 09:46

Do you guys seriously still pay attention to what RS says? {nm} CS Mar 07, 09:52

People *pay* for their weekly newsletter so clearly, someone must be. Maybe someone needs to speak up... secretstalker Mar 07, 09:56

To me.. RS is just a gauge to compare with MTC, the rule may not be fool proof, but gives traders a rough idea of how openers might do ;-) {nm} karspov Mar 07, 09:57

So Red Riding Hood is somewhere between 18 and 40... great! :) {nm} secretstalker Mar 07, 10:15

Thanks ! {nm} joeoftexas Mar 07, 09:57

A little data is good. But you have to go with your gut. I can sniff out a dog from a mile away. Usually don't need to see the film. {nm} lhayes37 Mar 07, 10:35

This set sounds more realistic; still don't think RRH will hit $20m {nm} xiayun Mar 07, 11:03

I'm with you too JMT Mar 07, 11:37

I think they are underestimating BATLA. Looks to me a $30M opening weekend is the floor and I really think it can make as much as $40M {nm} FabioParme Mar 07, 11:58
