I just had an aha moment with respect to EKOTE. Followers of the StarBond section of the-number PLEASE read this:
If 2 movies in the TAG have the same release date, the movie with the lower total box office drops out first.
In the case of EKOTE, Defendor (DFEND) and Shutter Island (SHISL) were both released on 2/19/10, the former as a limited and the latter wide. SHISL delisted earlier. However, DFEND will come out of the TAG first.
Box for DFDND was about .04M, SHISL 127.97M, so the error is 1/5 of the difference or about 127.93M in total box in the TAG, or an affect of 25.59 in the adjust.
I have emailed bruce@the-numbers to let him know about the error, but it may not get fixed quickly enough.

I have been trying to figure out why this StarBond is moving south so close to adjust. For what it is worth, for those who did not invest previously, the dROI has just kept getting better and better.
