Analysis of the madness....DMac tried to avoid part of it by scheduling the IPO of HOBT3 on the day of delist of BATM3...
There were also a boatload of shares available before the price would move. Theoretically, the large number of shares cashed in on BATM3 would help pay for HOBT3...Obviously it did not happen exactly that way.
A lot of smaller ports (Anything under 4B?) liquidated a lot of other holdings to cash in on the IPO causing the other tentpoles to plummet in price. The next couple of days, flush with cash from the Delist of BATM3 and the adjust of the attached StarBonds (although few of them were actually going to make a lot of H$ on the last couple of days) and the attendant sale of said StarBonds, left a lot of cash available to go back in to tent poles or other big projects.
Result, yes a bleeding for a day or 2 followed by hefty gains. I haven;t looked but I would assume that those tent poles are back to their happy long range rise in value.
