My understanding is that the powers that be want to focus to be on the moviestocks to be able to gauge the interest/excitement around movies. Star bonds are just intended to be an interesting side line the players can use to increase their port size so they have more money to spend on movie stocks.

When I first started in 2002, they were both limited to 50,000. The bond limit was cut to 20,000 in Jan 2003. {nm} Apr 19, 10:12
