I know basic programing and can hold my own in excel pretty well.

I am familiar with Visual Basic for Applications (odds is that I can read and do minor alterations in the code) and from time to time I do macros in Excel (VBA). Once you know the structure and comands of the language you basically can do anything. The same basic concepts are in any language. Odds is Kaigee uses VBA (Visual Basic for Aplications) which is a reduced version of Visual Basic plus the functions and object oriented stuff for Office (If I remember correctly I think after 2007 Visual Studio replaces VBA in Office but there is compatibility).

Since VBA is included in Excel or rather Office, that is the most likely easy solution to use assuming something in Excel will be the final product.

Personally I have become so familiar with the formulas in excel that I do most of what I need in the spreadsheet rather than in VBA and uses VBA when I need to avoid the 7 nested level constraint in Excel. Since VBA is a highly object oriented language you have to know your stuff (excel objects) to have an easy ride. I am the kind of user that just learns what I need and so far I never had the need to extract data from a webpage that is why Kaigee code sounds so enticing to me.

Due to the object oriented stuff believe me when I tell you that if you can learn from someone else do it rather than from a book published from Microsoft. Any author that is not Microsoft is more usefull than MS since MS go so object oriented that it becomes so difficult to read that you probably will feel frustated (at least that is my opinion).

While I don't program often now (lack of practice basically kills your skills), I should be able to help with the pseudo code of what is needed, you know an array here, index there, loops and if statements and once the basic data is obtained I should be able to maipulate it in the spreadsheet to get the desired results. (At least I am hoping for that)
