i think whats getting lost in this discussion is there are A LOT of quality QBs available in the next draft. Luck will go one and
he deserves too, but you can have pick #2, trade down, and still get a franchise QB and a lot of other talent.
there have been studies (read SCORECASTING and the chapter on the draft value chart) where teams that trade down for multiple picks do better long term than teams that dont trade down and much better than teams that trade up. So you DONT PASS ON LUCK. Hes the next Manning/Brady/Rodgers, but, if you are the Skins (for example) and are picking 5th, why not trade down to 12th or whatever and get that kid from Baylor or someone similar?
Suck for Luck doesnt make sense because there is too much talent coming out at that position this next draft
